Strong Core Muscles Enable a Consistent Swing Plane
The torso or core is what connects all the moving body parts around it. The spine is the heart of the torso and is the conduit which allows forces to be transferred effectively from the legs to the upper body during the golf swing. Strong core postural muscles withstand those forces without breakdown, allowing the golfer to maintain the spine angle throughout the entire swing. The Pod PT™ Golf Core Strength program will strengthen your core when used regularly. And as an added benefit, some of exercises sneak in work on the lower body as well. Why train one part of the body when you can train two parts at the same time?
What's Included
Pod PT™ is a unique system that uses still shot photos with word cueing as well as an audio cueing .mp3 file that can be changed out for your own music once you are comfortable with the proper form for the exercise or stretch. When you download a Pod PT™ program, you will receive a .zip file with the following items in it:
- Audio Cueing - a .mp3 file that you can play as background while you move through the still shots that demonstrate the exercise or stretch. This file will teach you proper form. Once you are comfortable, trade it out and listen to your own music while using the images to walk you through the program.
Listen to a Sample
- Still Shot Photos with Overlay Word Cueing - each still shot photo has word overlays that guide you through the exercise or stretch. Additionally, there is a "Tips" slide that follows each exercise or stretch for more detail.
- Printable Workout Sheet- The program includes a printable workout sheet that describes each exercise or stretch in detail.
- Directions - a ReadMe file is included that will assist you with your download and installation.
What's Not Included
The hardware to play your downloaded program is not included. We have tested our programs on different computers, TVs, and iPods and would expect any photo capable .mp3 player to work.
